Las Vegas Engagement Session

In addition to attending WPPI in Vegas a couple weeks ago, we spent some time with a couple of our wedding clients. Ellie & Jesse are South Dakota natives but currently live and work as attorneys in Las Vegas. When they visited our studio over Christmas break, I informed them we would be in Vegas in March. I then suggested we meet in Vegas for the engagement session.

We were very excited to get the opportunity for a session with a different type of scenery! The weather wasn't very cooperative early in the week, but it finally warmed up the last night. Ellie picked us up at our hotel and we drove about 20 miles to Red Rock Resort & Casino. If you're looking for a great vacation destination in Vegas that's more laid back than the strip, this is the place to go!

We had a great time and got some great shots of Ellie and Jesse! They were so much fun and we look forward to their wedding!

WPPI conference

We spent a week in Las Vegas attending the WPPI convention.(Wedding & Portrait Photographers International)
What a great experience! It was so inspiring to visit with some of the leading photographers in the world and learn from their techniques and strategies. It's a trip we will definately make again! Here are a few shots from the conference as well as sites from outside the Paris Hotel.
